Duplicate Driver's License
How to obtain a duplicate driver's license You can apply for a duplicate Minnesota Driver's License or Identification Card, in person, at the City of Richfield.
Duplicates are issued to replace a lost or stolen Minnesota Driver's License or Identification Card. They may also be issued for address changes. To apply for a duplicate Minnesota Driver's License or Identification card you may present:
- For address changes - A Minnesota Driver's License or Identification Card that is current or expired for five years or less if it has a photo - OR - one year or less if it does not have a photo.
- For lost or stolen driver's licenses or identification cards - We can look up your information in our system.
- The fee for a duplicate Minnesota Driver's License or Identification Card is $13.50.
Checks can be made payable to the City of Richfield (credit cards are not accepted). An ATM is also available.
