PENN AVENUE REVITALIZATION PLAN

Summary:

In 2008, the City of Richfield began working with the planning firm of Hoisington Koegler Group, Inc. (HKGi) to consider the future of the Penn Avenue Corridor, an area along Penn Avenue between Crosstown 62 and 68th Street.  The process involved gathering input from Richfield residents, business and property owners along the corridor, the City Council, the Housing & Redevelopment Authority (HRA), the Planning Commission, and other stakeholders . The result of this process is the Penn Avenue Corridor master revitalization plan and Design Guidelines that will be used as a guide to facilitate and direct future development in the area.
