To make the Lakes at Lyndale district Richfield's thriving urban center.  Provide more housing opportunities, upgrade commercial properties and offer greater enjoyment of the natural and recreational amenities of Wood Lake and Richfield Lake.  Achievement will help ensure Richfield remains the est place to live, work, learn and do business in the Twin Cities metro area.

Several Projects have recently been proposed for the area including the redevelopment of the former Kmart at 66th and Lyndale, the redevelopment of the former Lyndale Garden Center at 64th and Lyndale, and the redevelopment of the Woodlake retail center at 64th and Lyndale.
