Equipment - Richfield Fire has three engines, one 75-foot quint, several light-rescue vehicles, one hazardous-materials response trailer, and other support vehicles, representing some of the latest in fire-fighting equipment.
 

Quint 1

Quint 1
(Began service in Sept. 2004).  Replaced Fire Truck No. 86, a ladder truck dating to 1986.

2004 Pierce 75HD Quint.
Features: 
75' steel aerial ladder with a pre-piped waterway, 1250 GPM pump and a 400 gallon booster tank.  Quint 1 is first due on all fires on the city's east side.  Quint 1 is also the primary engine used for mutual aide to Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport.  Stationed at Station No. 1.

   

Engine 2
Engine 2
2002 General on a Spartan Advantage Chassis, 1250 GPM single-stage pump, 500 gallon booster tank with integrated Class A foam and a Holmatro rescue tool.  Engine 2 is first due on all fires and EMS runs on the city's west side.  Engine 2 is also the primary engine used for mutual aide to Edina and St. Louis Park.  Stationed at Station No. 2.
   

Rescue 1
Rescue 1
1999 Ford F-350 with a rescue box manufactured by Road Rescue.  Rescue 1 carries a variety of rescue tools including a Hurst spreader, cutter and ram. Rescue 1 is the primary response vehicle for all EMS calls on the city's east side and responds to all fire runs in the city including all mutual aide calls.  Stationed at Station No. 1
   

Engine 11

1999 Toyne on a Spartan Advantage Chassis, 1250 two-stage pump, and a 500 gallon booster tank. Engine 11 is the reserve engine at Station 1 and is used primarily as a backup or as an additional unit on multiple alarm fires.  Stationed at Station No. 1
   
  Engine 22
1994 General on a Spartan Diamond Chassis, 1250 two-stage pump, and a 500 gallon booster tan and a Hurst spreader and cutter.. Engine 22 is the reserve engine at Station 2 and is used primarily as a backup or as an additional unit on multiple alarm fires.  Stationed at Station No. 2
   
  Rescue 11
2000 Ford Excursion with a slide out rescue tray.  Rescue 11 is used primarily as a utility vehicle and as a backup to Rescue 1.  Stationed at Station No. 1
   
  Utility 2
2000 Ford F-250 with a skid brush unit used for brush fires. Utility 2 is used for miscellaneous work and is a second run unit.  Stationed at Station No. 2
   
  Chief 1
2002 Ford Crown Victoria.  This vehicle is the vehicle assigned to the Fire Chief.
   
  Chief 2
2001 Ford Explorer.  This vehicle is assigned to the Assistant Fire Chief.
