City to Host Two Open Houses Regarding Recreation Vehicle Ordinance

The Richfield City Council is hosting two open houses later this month to discuss possible changes to the City’s Recreation Vehicle Ordinance.  The first open house will be held on Wednesday, May 14 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and the second open house will be held on Saturday, May 17 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon.  Both events will be held at Richfield City Hall, 6700 Portland Avenue.

Council Members and City Staff will be available to answer questions and take feedback from Richfield residents and owners of recreational vehicles.  The City currently has an ordinance regarding recreational and off-road vehicles in residential areas under Chapter 13 of the Richfield City Code.  The input gathered will be considered should the Council consider ordinance changes.
