The Administrative Support Services Division performs
five major functions for the City in the areas of environmental health code
enforcement, animal control, business licensing, rental licensing and health
services.
The division is responsible for responding to complaints received
concerning environmental health code violations on private and public
property. This continues to be an important program in terms of maintaining
the overall appearance of the community.
Support Services also provides health services to the
residents of Richfield through a contract with the Bloomington Public Health
Division. A wide variety of health services are available at low or no cost to
those residents in need through this contract. The Division Manager is the
staff liaison to the
Advisory Board of Health, which is an eleven member
advisory committee to the City Council in the area of health and health
services.
