AREA 5- 76th Street (Railroad Tracks to 35W)

Completed Work:

  • Concrete Removal on 76th Street.
  • Met Council Interceptor installation.
  • Installation of new City watermain.
  • Installation of new City storm sewer.
  • Grading of new roadbed.
  • Installation of new city sidewalk from the railroad tracks to Emerson Avenue.
  • Installation of curb and gutter and driveway aprons
  • Retaining wall installations from Lyndale Avenue to Colfax Avenue.
  • Installation of Met Council interceptor pipe across 77th/76th Street instersection.
  • Installation of first layer of asphalt from railroad tracks to Garfield Avenue and Lyndale Avenue to Emerson Avenue.
  • Lane reduction at 76th/77th Street instersection.
  • Installation of new concrete pavment at the 77th/76th Street interesection.
  • Installation of curb and gutter and driveway aprons from Emerson Aveneu to 77th/76th Street instersection as well as Garfield Avenue to Lyndale Avenue.
  • Sod installation of south side of the road.

Work in Progress:

  • Under-grounding of private utilities from railroad tracks to 77th Street.

Work to be Completed Soon:

  • Installation of new Three Rivers multi-purpose trail from the railroad tracks to 77th/76th Street intersection.
  • Punch-list items
