Education by Enforcement:  Roundabout Road Rules

Watch this video so that you can be confident that you understand the road rules of a two-lane roundabout.  Officers will be adding increased enforcement at the 66^th Street and Portland Avenue Roundabout to help get the following messages out:

• LEFT TURNS must be made from the LEFT LANE. 
• Do not switch lanes within the roundabout.
• The INSIDE LANE is an EXITING lane – Yield to both lanes at entry.
• STOP for pedestrians in crosswalks.
