Roundabout Striping Upgrade

Hennepin County is planning a restriping of the roundabout at CSAH 53 (66th Street) & Richfield Pkwy. The project is scheduled for sometime during the week of June 13, 2011. Hennepin County will place electronic message boards on 66th Street one week prior to the project notifying the public of the work. Work involves removal of the existing markings, grooving of the pavement, and placing of new thermoplastic markings.

Work is expected to be completed in one to two days. Working hours will be 9:00am to 3:00pm. The contractor is aware of the traffic control difficulties they may encounter and plans to have appropriate devices and flagmen to handle the situation.
