Our Mission & Vision
To provide enriching health, leisure, and educational experiences for members of the community, maintain quality parks and facilities that improve quality of life for residents, and to enhance the value of the community for people who live, work, visit, and do business in Richfield.

Parks Master Plan
Updated over a two-year period in 2010-2011 with input from residents, Community Services Commission members, and staff, the Parks Master Plan provides a roadmap for future projects and improvements.

Public Advisory Boards
Recreation Services Department staff members serve as staff liaisons to two Council advisory Commissions: the Community Services Commission and the Arts Commission.  Recreation Staff also works with a number of subcommittees of the CSC, project task forces, neighborhood groups and fundraising boards (such as the Friends of Wood Lake, Honoring All Veterans Memorial, Inc. and the Senior Advisory Board).
