Now accepting 2017 vendor applications.  

Application Materials (due March 1 for vendors returning from 2016, due March 15 for others):
-2017 Application (complete and return pages 7-19)
-IRS W-9 Form
-ST-19 MN Revenue Operation Certificate of Compliance
-Booth Payment (see below for more information)

Additional materials for accepted vendors (due by April 21)
-General Liability Insurance Certificate or Rider Policy (required of all vendors).  The Minnesota Farmers Market Association (MFMA) offers insurance to vendors at a reduced cost. See MFMA Vendor Insurance Website for more information or call 218-259-9675.

Additional materials, if applicable (due by April 21)
-National Organic Standard Certification (accredited by the USDA)
-Safe Food Sampling Worksheet (for vendors offering food samples to customers)
-MN Cottage Foods Producer Certification (MN Dept of Agriculture)
-Copies of MDA, USDA or other licenses required to sell your products
-Richfield Temporary Food Business License (for vendors preparing and serving food at the market)

2017 Fees (10'x10' booths, 23-week season)
Full Season: $608 per booth or $800 per 1.5 booths (space-permitting)
Weekly Rate: $32 per booth (paid in advance & space-permitting)

Vendor Selection Process
Upon receiving a vendor’s application, the Market Manager and Coordinator will first consider vendors returning from the previous season who are in good standing.  New applicants will then be considered, if space allows and based on the market needs.  By March 22, all vendors will be notified of acceptance status.  NOTE: No craft/artisan vendors, home party, or consultant businesses are accepted.  For more information, contact us at 612-861-9362 or FarmersMarket@cityofrichfield.org.

*Applications received after this deadline will be accepted only if there is space still available.

Guidelines
The Richfield Farmers Market features only local growers and producers, restricted to those whose principal production site is within a 200-mile radius of Richfield.  No brokers, agents or others may represent a farmer.  We currently allow and reserve only one space for a grower-dealer or dealer-vendor.  NOTE: No craft/artisan vendors, home-party, or consultant-type businesses are allowed at this market.

*including goods qualifying under the MN "Cottage Food Law" exemption (see application for more details).

NOTE: If you BUY any produce or products to resell at the market, you will require a license from the Dairy & Food Inspection Division of the MN Dept. of Agriculture.

Booth Fees - 2017 Season 

Veteran Memorial Park Farmers Market on Saturdays:

Season Rate – $608 per booth space lease fee for all 23 weeks OR $800 for 1 ½ booth space lease fee for all 23 weeks*

Daily Rate - $32 per 10 x 10 booth space lease fee (week must be paid in advance)

*1 ½ booth spaces are limited and only available on a first come, first serve basis. We give priority for these spaces to past vendors in good standing.
