Adopt-a-Park Clean Up
Richfield’s Adopt-A-Park groups clean up their respective parks at least twice a year. One of those clean ups is usually the week of Earth Day (in late April). The other clean ups are done at the groups’ convenience.  Any group or business can adopt a park!

Friends of Wood Lake Benefit Dinner
Late April/Early May
Proceeds benefit Wood Lake's Outdoor Education programs.

City-Wide Garage Sale
Held from Thursday through Saturday in mid-May.

Richfield Beautiful Home & Garden Tour
Richfield Beautiful is a tour of homes and gardens throughout the City. Tour "passports" (required to visit the participating homes) are sold at various City sites.

July/August

Richfield 4th of July
This five-day event includes carnival rides, food, entertainment, the popular street dance, grand parade and fireworks.

Urban Wildland Half Marathon & 5K
First Saturday in August.  Race starts and finishes at Veterans Park (66th and Portland).  Proceeds benefit Wood Lake Nature Center.

Cattail Days

A family-friendly festival with crafts, community exhibits, food vendors & an antique car show.

Holiday Boutique
Held on a Saturday in October at the Community Center, 7000 Nicollet Avenue
The Boutique includes two floors of handcrafted articles, refreshments and a raffle to win a handmade quilt.

Christmas Trees, Garlands, and Wreaths
Open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day after Thanksgiving until tree are sold out.  Located at Veterans Memorial Park entrance on 64th Street and Portland Avenue.

Ice Skating Party
New Year's Eve, 4-6 p.m. at the Richfield Ice Arena, 636 East 66th Street
