Instructions

Completion of an "Application for Installation of Utilities or Underground Construction and Street Excavation Permit" is required for all Street Cuts in the City of Richfield.  Details for requirements for patching bituminous and concrete streets may be obtained with the application.  Driveway aprons must conform to State of Minnesota Standard Detail No. 405B.  For more information, review the Standard Driveway Entrance handout below.  Please direct questions to the City's Public Works Department at 612-861-9794.

Fees

The cost for this permit is $125.00 for each cut, curb and gutter section, driveway apron, or 100 feet or portion thereof of transverse excavation.
